Southwaite Green is a small collection of luxurious and spacious eco cottages in a completely secluded rural setting, just off the Vale of Lorton.   Set in 10 acres of developing grounds, with pond, wildflower meadows, woodlands, organic fruit and beck running through, it is a completely different holiday experience. 

The cottages feature welcoming local produce, organic linen and mattresses on the king size beds, wood burning stoves and walk in drench showers.

Beckside, Buttermere, Skiddaw and Esther’s Barn each have individual charm and character, retaining local barn features like slate floors and wooden beams.  They are super insulated to provide cosy accommodation with heat pump underfloor heating and solar powered hot water.  Each cottage has its own private terrace with spectacular views and wildlife watching.

You can enjoy fell walking and mountain biking, with outdoor adventure of all kinds nearby.
