"We had a lovely relaxing stay at Beckside."
The cottage was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the patio to enjoy the sunshine and lighting the log burner in the evenings. The cottage was well placed to explore the lake District and we enjoyed revisiting the lakes and towns we last saw some years ago. The grounds around the cottages were lovely to explore with our dog Charlie - lots of wildlife to see, great views, big pond, woodland, great variety.

"What a lovely property, in beautiful grounds surrounded by stunning scenery with easy access to be able to explore Cumbria and the Lakes."
We had the most wonderful time and it was clear that every thought had gone in to, making our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. If you get the opportunity to stay here, we would most definitely recommend. Such happy and friendly people ☺️

The grounds are extensive and beautiful. The accommodation is well thought out and comfortable. The view from the grounds is outstanding. We stayed with our 2 kids and dog and the set up suited us perfectly.

Beckside is a beautifully-designed cottage with a host of nice features. The owner has ensured that it is well-equipped and most of the fixtures and fittings are of a very good standard. The best thing about Southwaite Green for the children was, without doubt, the lovely grounds, most of which they had free access to. They absolutely loved the swing over the stream. The only slight negative was our difficulty working out the heating: sometimes we felt too warm and others a little chilly.

"A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location."
Marna the owner has thrown her heart and soul into the cottage and grounds and everything is lovely from the bridge over the stream to get to the property to the play field and swing over the stream. Marna clearly does love her little part of the lake district and it clearly shows in the cottage.

"Our cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped."
The properties are set within lovely grounds which were perfect for our dogs too. Well placed to explore the west Lakes, Keswick and Winlatter. We have family in Cockermouth which has a range of shops and only 5 minutes away. We've stayed in lots of holiday cottages in the Lakes, this has been the best and we will definitely visit again!!

"We enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay in Skiddaw."
The property was immaculate and really cosy on the autumn nights. We loved the little patio area with beautiful views. It was so handy for Cockermouth and nor too far from Keswick. The grounds of the property were heaven for our dog! Would highly recommend!

"Another lovely short stay at the cottage, lovely and cosy and lots of fuel for the wood burner."
The cottage has everything you need with a lovely walk for our golden oldie retriever. We also got a free market garden veggie box which was lovely. We have an electric car and it was so convenient being able to charge on site. Would recommend.

"Our cottage exceeded expectations."
The location is exceptional. It is one of 3 or 4 cottages in a secluded area where the owner also has a home. The bedrooms are very spacious, the upside down living works wonderfully well with beautiful views of the surrounding land and mountains. This is definitely somewhere to go if you are seeking peace and tranquillity on a holiday. The commitment to green living is clear and welcome. Would certainly consider visiting again.

"Amazing. This property is a real gem."
Accessibility is a very personal and individual thing but this property ticked every box that we needed it to tick. Location is fantastic, Comfort is amazing, Cleanliness is perfect, and the facilities are just above and beyond. We just had a really lovely week that was made possible by a property owner that had took the time to understand different needs and accommodate them. I almost don't want to publish this review because I want to keep this place a secret and always available when I want to visit again - which we definitely will!

"Lovely holiday home with everything we needed."
Organic bedding, all spotless and comfy beds. Buttermere was in a perfect location to go out and about walking, the owners had included lots of information on walks in the area, very handy. The holiday home was also set in its own pretty grounds with its own little outside area, great for our dog. Would definitely return again to this lovey spot, thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing break.

"Lovely cottage, had all we needed with lively walks around the property for our Golden oldie."
Greeted once settled in by Marna, who checked we had all we needed. Beds and pillows super comfy, loved sitting outside with morning coffee. Would visit again.

"This was an ideal place to stay for our daughter and son in laws wedding at Low Hall."
Easy to find, and had everything we needed. Clean and warm and the owner was very helpful answering our queries before travelling. Would definitely recommend staying here.

"An excellent and spacious property."
The kitchen and the facilities etc were perfect. I wonderful peaceful environment. I must note that the two frying pans, which looked new are not NON-STICK. So good that we may well visit Esthers Cottage again.
